The M-Audio Hammer 88 is an 88-key USB/MIDI controller featuring a graded hammer action keyboard, aftertouch, assignable zones, 16 backlit velocity-sensitive RGB pads with Note Repeat function, eight assignable knobs and buttons, nine assignable faders, preset and DAW buttons for automatic DAW control & plug-in parameters, Smart Chord and Smart Scale modes, an arpeggiator with type, octave, gate and swing control, pitch bend and modulation wheels, three footswitch pedal inputs, one expression pedal input, USB MIDI connection, MIDI in/out (5-pin) for connecting external MIDI devices, a small OLED display for quick menu access, powered via USB or an external power supply (not included). It includes a music rest, MIDI editor software, and a software package for download including Ableton Live Lite, Mini Grand, Velvet, Hybrid 3, Touch Loops, and MPC Beats.
